Parkland County roofing
Some roofs in our job book are recorded simply as Parkland County: acreages and country homes outside the city, towns, hamlets and summer villages. Slate leads there too, with Cedar Shingle a strong second.

Country roofs, one at a time
A county property often has a house, a shop and a barn under three different roofs. We price each one separately and keep the profile and colour the same, so you can do the house first and the rest later.
Trees, grass and fire
The 2021 Tomahawk fire was a reminder that wildfire reaches the county too. FireSmart Alberta recommends Class A roofing; ours can be built as Class A Fire Rated Available, as a complete assembly, with two layers of GAF VersaShield® over 12 mm (15/32-inch) plywood. No roof is fireproof.

Reviews from Parkland County
“There were a lot of nails left around, I would suggest they improve that with a rolling magnet. Also they need to be teathered, for safety. Their English was really bad, but they tried to talk to us. They came back for the check, becuse we needed to leave and he even put material where I asked them to. He was very accommodating!”
“I suppose any new roof requires some time to elapse before totally passing judgement on it, but we are very happy with the process of doing business with Interlock including our contact with the sales rep and the installation crew. The look of the roof is very pleasing.”
“Our home is not very old, and we were constantly replacing blown off shingles and in some sections, they were even starting to curl. We decided to look into replacing it with a maintenance free shingle, which had an actual life expectancy of more than 13 years. We contacted a few metal roof companies, and Neil from Interlock was the first company to get back to us.”
